The “Rasgue o Verbo” campaign, launched by GNT in partnership with #HisAndHer, aimed to create an opened dialogues and sparked discussions about the prejudices embedded in everyday phrases. The goal was to raise awareness among both men and women about the importance of equal rights for everyone, challenging and confronting socially ingrained biases and stereotypes. In 2016, when the campaign was introduced, conversations around workplace abuse and gender inequality were gaining significant momentum. Cases of harassment, discrimination, and toxic work environments were increasingly coming to light, particularly in industries such as tech and media. This context made “Rasgue o Verbo” a timely and crucial initiative to promote gender equality and respect in both professional and personal spaces.
